Conditions We Do Not Treat / Red Flags

For patient safety, we do not treat the following without appropriate medical referral:

  • Suspected fractures or acute trauma

  • Unexplained severe pain or sudden functional decline

  • Progressive neurological symptoms (e.g. sudden weakness, numbness, or loss of coordination)

  • Acute inflammatory or infectious conditions

  • Uncontrolled cardiovascular conditions

  • New onset dizziness, blackouts, or unexplained falls

If any of these are present, we advise prompt assessment by a GP, consultant, or emergency services before physiotherapy treatment.
